We collect information through our registration process that includes name, contact information, age, school and grade level, and uniform size. We use this information for the following purposes:

To assign players to teams at the appropriate level of age and experience,
To list players on our website and in our league book,
To order uniforms for players and coaches,
To facilitate communication among players, parents, coaches, and RBGSL administrators, especially in case of emergency,
To provide accident insurance for all participants in league activity, and
To provide for the registration of players with the American Softball Association (ASA).

We do not sell, lease, show, loan, transfer, or allow third parties to have access to this information.

We may use your email address to keep you abreast of league activities, deadlines, and the like. However, if you prefer not to receive emails from us, please request removal of your email address from our list via rbgirlssoftball@gmail.com. If you prefer not to be listed on our website or not to have your telephone number appear in our league book, please request omission via rbgirlssoftball@gmail.com.

Throughout the year, parents, friends, board members, and general RBGSL softball fans may take photographs of softball teams, games, fans, and individuals participating and surrounding various softball activities. People may choose to make their photographs available for posting on our website by submitting them to our webmaster. Pictures must be appropriate for our website, and not all images submitted will be posted. To request a picture, name, or specific content be removed from lthe RBGSL website, please send your request to our webmaster.

Information gathered on managers, coaches, RBGSL board members, and all other volunteers is used soley for the purpose of conducting a criminal background check at the beginning of the recreation season. This information is provided only to the proper authorities (Department of Justice). Background checks are valid only for the current season and must be gathered again for each subsequent season.

The RBGSL is committed to maintaining accurate records and securing them from unauthorized use. Players and parents are welcome to review and correct records pertaining to them, and they may request such review via rbgirlssoftball@gmail.com.
