Training & Clinics

Pitching instruction: We've arranged Bridget Starry and Monica Mace Fenton to provide several clinic opportunities. Both are excellent pitching instructors and have supported past league-sponsored clinics and can also be contacted separately for individual instruction. While there are a lot of common movements and drills taught between these two pitching instructors, there are some differences that can sometimes confuse new pitchers. If you're going to take your ballplayer to a couple of pitching clinics, we'd recommend staying with the same instructor (either Monica or Bridget) between clinics.

Catching instruction: We're excited to have added catching instruction in 2008. The catching position has always been important, and now with new ASA rule changes for younger ages it is even more important. Our catching clinics will be with Suzy Ellquist, former SD Legacy and RB High School player. She is currently coaching assistant for the RBHS varsity team.
